This fly combines the appearance of a worm
with the top water motion of a gurgler fly. In moving water the front
hood digs into the water to leave a V-wake fish can easily see
silhouetted in the light (even at night) while in calmer waters a
short strip of the line makes a "pop/chug" sound that attracts fish. flies is an
excellent surface pattern. The fly is designed to imitate the both worms and
small fish such as sand eels and other types of small bait along the surface. The
fly is typically fished on a floating line using long strips with a pause
