Both styles have a ceramic insert at the tip which greatly helps reduce wear on the thread. These bobbins are excellent for medium and large flies. Easily fits in your hand for controlling tension.

The Supreme style is a good all-around bobbin while the Bass/Saltwater bobbin has a longer tube for reaching further back on the typically larger bass and saltwater flies.
